Founder Justin D. Meunier began collecting coins at a young age, immediately interested in the early coinage of Canada and Newfoundland.

.While attending the University of Rhode Island, Justin sold off his collection and began buying and selling coins to help pay for his university tuition, eventually establishing one of the largest eBay stores for World Numismatics.

Since establishment in 2007, Boardwalk Numismatics now boasts clients throughout the world, with customers in over 130 countries with interesting coins offered in all price ranges! In 2014, Boardwalk Numismatics opened our offices in Middlefield, Connecticut, and you can find us set up at coin shows around the world!

In 2016, Boardwalk Numismatics was selected by eBay as a finalist in the inaugural eBay 'Shine Awards', highlighting 15 successful small businesses. Boardwalk Numismatics was honored to be included as one of the top 3 'Growing Businesses' within it's particular category. 

In addition to running Boardwalk Numismatics, Justin enjoys spending the rest of his spare time playing basketball, traveling and hiking with his wife Paula and spending time with their son Teddy.

Justin 'JJ' Willette is our assistant numismatist and listing director. He helps to catalog our auctions and new material, and handles the creation of most of our listings on the website and eBay shop. He comes to us with an extensive background in antiques and collectibles. JJ is an avid coin collector (Still mostly U.S., but working on getting him into World Numismatics!), metal detectorist and collector of all things Abraham Lincoln related. Lily Bowman helps handle the photography and the shipping. While not a coin collector herself (yet!), she is a very talented photographer and graphic designer. 

  Ellery Deprey is our eBay listing director and show specialist.. He initially came to us as a client and decided he was interested enough in coins to pursue a career in numismatics! Savannah Abbott helps handle our photography and shipping. While not a collector (yet!), she is passionate about cooking, music and photography. She is currently studying Criminal Justice at the University of New Haven.

Dan Meunier is Justin's father, and he helps us at shows along with some of the less interesting aspects of what we do- Sorting, counting, carding and organizing. Dan is a passionate coin collector, primarily U.S. type, but has expended into Canadian, Newfoundland and whatever else catches his eye! When not helping us out, Dan is watching football, hiking or spending time with his grandkids and dog, Max.

Melanie 'Mel' Abbott assists with our listing and shipping. While not a coin collector yet, she has been learning the history and background on world coins at an exponential rate! Besides helping out here at the office, she is also a real estate agent for Sotheby's in Madison, CT and is a super talented writer.
